FAQ about association fee, annual marks for products and goods, board approval, bank-transfer payments and the Brand Ambassador network.

What is included in joining the Association?

Association membership costs EUR 1,000 per year without VAT and gives the company the right to attend assemblies, receive invitations to conferences, seminars, fairs, events and future agreements or dedicated initiatives.

Who can request Tutela Sarda marks?

Companies register online, enter their business data, upload documents and submit at least one product or service. After this first step, the Association board evaluates whether each item can enter the certification path.

Which marks are available?

The certification path applies to products and goods connected to Sardinian identity and typical ingredients, with annual evaluation and dedicated economic conditions defined by the Association.

How much does the mark cost for a product or good?

The reference cost is EUR 12,000 + VAT per year for each individual product or good. The administrator can still register a different amount, for example when discounts or specific agreements apply.

How is the mark paid?

The mark is not paid online. The BA agrees with the company on the final order and the payment plan, either in a single payment or in two tranches. The administrator then records the bank transfer and payment status manually.

Who approves products and goods?

After company registration, the Tutela Sarda Association board meets and evaluates whether each product or good is suitable for certification. Only after a positive outcome and full payment can the item become certified.

When can the Tutela Sarda Four Moors mark be used?

Once the product or good is approved and the order payment is recorded, the company can place the mark on labels, websites, presentations and official communications related to that specific certified item.

How does the Brand Ambassador network work?

Administrators and the master BA can create Brand Ambassadors and build a hierarchy up to 4 total levels: master plus 3 levels below. Commissions apply only to annual mark sales for products and goods, never to the association fee.
